Overview
China TransInfo Technology Corp, or China TransInfo, was founded in 2000 with headquarters in Beijing. The Company is the largest provider of traffic information products and solutions, including comprehensive transportation media information platforms, in China. Since its incorporation, China TransInfo has accumulated a formidable team of information technology experts with advanced degrees, educated at some of the finest universities in China and abroad. In July 2008, the Company has successfully listed on the Nasdaq Capital Market in the U.S under the symbol of CTFO. On July 18th, 2009, The Company upgraded to Nasdaq Global Market under the same trading symbol. Now China TransInfo has several branches throughout mainland China.

In recent years, China TransInfo has been primarily focused on the development of transportation related information technology projects. These include the Company’s Transportation Planning Information System, Intellectual Parking Guidance System,, Electronic Toll Collection System, Super Geographic Information System (GIS), PalmCity Portable Navigation Device (PND), PalmCity Comprehensive Location Based Service Platform, PalmCity Exploiter Navigation Engine, Onboard Taxi LED GPS Monitoring and Coordinating System (GPSMC) and Traffic Data Survey Solution .

Chinese government agencies have been some of China TransInfo’s most reliable and long term customers. Some of these include the Ministry of Communications of China, many provincial and municipal departments and transportation commissions and the Yangtze River Maritime Safety Administration. China TransInfo has participated in key national transportation projects such as the “Golden Week” highway traffic information network for the Ministry of Communications program and the Transportation Planning System for the Ministry of Communications program which have all been well received. The Company has also received numerous industry accolades such as “Reliable Employer”, one of the “Top 100 IT Enterprises” and the “GIS Excellent Engineering Application Gold Medal”.

With a focus on transportation applications and services, China TransInfo aims to further increase its profile as the largest provider of traffic information products and solutions and leading operator of comprehensive traffic information media platforms in China.
