Urban Public Transport System in China have faced increasing challenges in recent years. With the growth of urban economies and the increase of private vehicle ownership, traffic congestion is worsening in cities, resulting in increases in commuting times for bus passengers and a decline in overall service performance. In addition, traffic congestion and increasing gas prices has caused operating costs to rise. China TransInfo'amp;s intelligent bus traffic system has redesigned traditional bus traffic patters with information technology, improving routes, service levels and management of urban bus systems. The objective of the intelligent bus system is to make urban bus transport more efficient, including better utilization of land resources and energy, to ensure the safe operation of bus systems and increase the quality of passenger transportation.
